The tradition

Understanding Bali’s Healing Tradition

At the heart of Balinese healing are village healers, balian, who work from family compounds and draw on taksu: a divine healing energy believed to bring transformation.

A session may include energy scanning to find blockages, craniosacral-style touch, Reiki-like balancing, sound work, herbal remedies and cleansing with holy water. Donations are customary.
